What sort of insulation will be installed?

We’ll be installing Pink Batts which are lightweight, flexible and resilient.  They are specially designed for ceilings and are also an effective sound absorber, so they contribute to acoustic comfort.  And they are made of up to 70% recycled glass, which means they are environmentally sustainable.

Comfort Trial

In exchange for this great offer, Big Switch Projects will be asking a limited number of households to participate in a comfort trial.  The comfort trial will monitor the effect ceiling insulation has on comfort levels within the home and will last approximately three months.  All you’ll need to do is have up to four small unobtrusive temperature monitors installed in your home by one of our consultants to monitor the temperate levels. This occurs one month before the insulation is installed.
