Origin is running a voluntary Smart Rates Adelaide Solar City Energy Plan trial* to help us use energy more efficiently. Participating in these trials is voluntary and you can opt out at any time.

Origin's new Smart Electricity pricing plans, could help you make real savings on your electricity bills when you shift your energy usage to certain times of the day.

When you choose Origin’s Smart Rates Adelaide Solar City Energy Plan, you can take your pick from our Smart Electricity pricing plans – Smart Time of Use and Dynamic Saver

Smart Time of Use

By making a few changes to the times you use high energy appliances like your pool pump, air conditioner and washing machine, you can take advantage of special off-peak electricity rates.

Electricity is priced at two levels, depending on the time of day. Rates are lowest during off-peak periods - all weekend and weekdays from 9pm to 7am. Rates are higher from 7am to 9pm weekdays.
