Adelaide Solar City Consortium Members

The Adelaide Solar City Project is delivered by a Consortium of organisations committed to helping Adelaide to become a more sustainable City.

 Consortium members include:

Big Switch Logocol stacked copy.jpgBig Switch Projects is an innovative provider of energy-efficiency projects and programs to government and the private sector.  Their expertise includes advising on energy efficiency and environmentally friendly technologies, energy auditing and building services design co-ordination.  Big Switch Projects is also on the NSW Government’s Energy Consultants Panel and the Panel of Accredited Energy Consultants (South Australia).  Big Switch Projects is also a consortium member in Blacktown Solar Cities.

logoANZ.gifAward-winning home loan specialist, ANZ is an active member of the United Nations Environment Program Finance Initiative which seeks to ensure that members’ policies and actions promote consideration of the environment and sustainable development.

Many of ANZ's Home Loans were awarded CANNEX mortgage star ratings in 2007.

BP Solar’s focus is moving the technology into the mainstream by growing the grid connected solar PV market so that they can generate the same amount of electricity using solar as done with conventional electricity. BP Solar is also a consortium member in Blacktown Solar City.

The City of Salisbury is committed to building on these strengths to ensure the sustainable growth and development of our people, businesses and industries without compromising our environment

The City of Salisbury’s involvement and commitment to Solar Cities is another example of their continuing endeavours to achieve a more sustainable city now and into the future.

 

Associate Members 

The councils of Tea Tree Gully, Playford and Adelaide are playing an important role in developing a wide range of environmental inititatives, like water and waste management and solar energy programs for their communities.  Along with that role, our local councils will play a vital part in the trial by co-ordinating activities and bringing together businesses and people who share a passion about our city and our environment.
